Nursery workers organizing with WeCount! in Homestead, Florida, are calling on Costa Farms to join the Planting Justice campaign and strengthen protections for the workers who grow houseplants sold in major retailers across the country.
Workers have raised concerns about difficult working conditions, including exposure to extreme heat. Through Planting Justice, they are organizing together and calling on Costa Farms to take action.
Their immediate goal: 5,000 petition signatures by September 8.
