The National Farm Worker Ministry is pleased to welcome Kathleen Wood as our next Executive Director, beginning June 1, 2026.

Kathleen brings nearly 20 years of experience in farm worker justice, faith-based organizing, nonprofit leadership, and community-centered food systems work. Her background includes organizing alongside farm worker-led campaigns, mobilizing faith communities, leading nonprofit strategy and operations, and building partnerships rooted in dignity, equity, and justice.
In her own words, Kathleen shared,
“I am honored to be organizing with farm workers, people of faith and consciousness, and the community of NFWM to cultivate farm worker dignity and justice.”
As NFWM continues its work of standing in faith-rooted solidarity with farm workers organizing for justice and empowerment, Kathleen brings deep experience in relational organizing and a strong commitment to the role of allies and faith communities in accompanying farm worker-led movements.
We are grateful to welcome Kathleen into this leadership role and look forward to this next chapter in NFWM’s ongoing work for farm worker justice.
