The Struggle of Tobacco Harvesters on Front Porch Radio

Thanks to Julie Norris and Front Porch Radio we have been able to make an hour long radio show focused on farm worker issues every two months. This is a very exciting opportunity to outreach to our community and we are very grateful for the opportunity!

The December show focuses on the Farm Labor Organizing Committee and their efforts to improve the working conditions for tobacco harvesters. Justin Flores, FLOC organizer, called in from North Carolina to talk to us about this exciting campaign! Make sure to listen to the podcast! You don’t want to miss it!
