Multicultural Marketplace Event

On Thursday, November 1st,  from 6-9PM, YAYA members attended a Multicultural Marketplace event put on by the Latin American Student Association at Rollins College. YAYAs set up a table with informational materials about the organization and farm worker issues, and sold YAYA t-shirts to attendees. YAYA feels that it is important to participate in events engaging with the community, particularly with young people, as it is our mission to educate our peers on the many issues facing farm workers and encourage them to take action in support of farm worker-led campaigns.

We would like to thank the Latin American Student Association at Rollins College for inviting us to this important event.
