FLOC trip to NC!

floc_yayaJoin Orlando YAYA for our annual trip to North Carolina to continue the pressure on RJ Reynolds in support of Farm Labor Organizing Committee‘s campaign to bring collective bargaining and freedom of association to tobacco workers.

The tentative dates for our trip is May 6-9. Upon in arriving in NC, YAYA visits with allies for organizing trainings as well as host our own; the RJ Reynolds shareholder’s meeting, which will take place on Thursday, May 7th, and a rally after the meeting; and lastly, visit with tobacco workers and FLOC for a debrief session of the previous day’s activities.

You don’t want to miss this opportunity to meet with folks involved with the campaign! Your participation in aiding RJ Reynolds to sign an agreement with FLOC is pertinent to tobacco workers!

We are asking folks for $50 to off-set the cost of gas during our trip – this cost can be reduced if necessary.
