“In a nutshell: Farmworkers are recognized as essential by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. That gives them some mobility protection, reducing the need to prove residency as they migrate.

But even a farmworker who lives in Florida year-round may not be able to document being a Florida resident. There’s the catch. To be vaccinated here, you must prove you are a Florida resident….Conclusion? A farmworker is essential but almost certainly can’t get vaccinated. “
