Strawberry Festival

Mixtec Immigrant Picking Strawberries farm worker fieldsOn Saturday, April 20, at 5:30pm, join the National Farm Worker Ministry‘s Pinellas Support Committee and YAYA members for an alternative to Plant City’s Strawberry Festival!

We will be discussing the issues facing farm workers,  we will honor strawberry pickers, and we will enjoy some homemade strawberry deserts!

Bert Perry and David Haney will be the keynote speakers at the event, talking about their work with farm workers in Florida.

Donations will gratefully be accepted and will be used to support farm workers in Florida
