- Educating the farm worker community of Volusia County about the dangers of pesticides and, women’s reproductive rights as well as workers’ rights related to pesticide exposure.
- Developing community leadership among women.
- Developing pride in the Mexican-American community of Seville. AMA educates community members about U.S. and Mexican history and culture.
- Preventing illnesses such as diabetes, hypertension, obesity, malnutrition, breast cancer, and high cholesterol
- Providing free services for low-income families in Volusia County
- Educating women about issues such as domestic and sexual violence, STDs, teen pregnancy, and other issues affecting women.
