Festival for Florida's Future

Orlando YAYA members James and Cole represented YAYA on Saturday, June 4 at the Festival for Florida’s Future held at the Central Florida Fairgrounds.

Thousands of people attended the event, which included music, workshops, skillshares, and informational booths from different groups across the state. The goal of the eventwas to bring together working people from all walks of life who are committed to building more unity statewide and a stronger collective voice in legislative decisions.

YAYA collected signatures, raised awareness about farm worker issues with a wide variety of people, sold T-shirts, and made valuable contacts with other organizations. We look forward to more events like this in the future!
