A message from the North Carolina Museum of Art:

Film: Viva la causa—The Story of César Chávez and a Great Movement for Social Justice

Saturday, June 7 | 2:30 pm
East Building, Museum Auditorium
Free; ticket from Museum Box Office required.

César Chávez’s beginnings as a farm worker contributed to his extraordinary role as the leading civil rights activist for Mexican and Latino farm workers. This 40-minute screening, followed by audience discussion, offers an opportunity to connect the civil rights struggle with the forceful works in Estampas de la raza. Register online or call the Museum Box Office, (919) 715-5923.

This program is sponsored, in part, by the National Farm Worker Ministry.
