Join Orlando YAYA on February 15th at 2PM for a rally in support of the Coalition of Immokalee Workers (CIW) Fair Food Campaign!
Publix and Wendy’s are still refusing to sign the Fair Food Agreement which would outline better working conditions for tomato pickers in Southwest Florida.
We will be meeting at the Wendy’s located at 2201 E. Colonial Drive 32803 at 2PM. Upon our arrival we will picket Wendy’s for about 30 minutes then do a letter drop to the manager on duty. After we will continue and march to Publix Supermarkets located 1400 E. Colonial Drive 32803 – this is a half mile march. Then we will picket Publix for about 30 minutes as well as do a letter drop to the manager on duty. The event should end no later 330PM.
