Once again, YAYA will be tabling at the annual Central Florida Vegetarian Festival from 10AM to 6PM at Orlando Festival Park! Come stop by and say hi to your favorite YAYAs as we raise awareness of the importance of farm labor in vegetarian and vegan lifestyles. All too often, people feel that eating organic or local precludes the exploitation of the people who harvest our food. Unfortunately this is not the case, and more often than not, organic and local growers are found to carry out the same oppressive conditions we see on large scale agriculture farms.
