I was born and raised in Northern New Jersey, and one thing I always say is—nothing beats Jersey food, especially the bagels. As a passionate foodie, I’m incredibly grateful to have grown up in such a culturally diverse area, with easy access to the vibrant culinary scene of nearby New York City, where I also spent a great deal of time. However, about a year and a half ago, I made the move to North Carolina. It was definitely a culture shock at first, but over time, it’s started to grow on me. While I’ll always have a deep love for the fast-paced energy and hustle of Jersey, I’ve come to appreciate the slower pace and calm that North Carolina offers. The greenery here is truly breathtaking—something I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of.

Aside from trying new foods, you’ll usually find me outside—whether I’m hiking, playing a sport, walking my dog, or just exploring the city around me. I’m also really passionate about self-growth, so I make time to hit the gym and work on both my strength and overall well-being. I love to read whenever I get the chance—it’s another way I keep my mind engaged. Fashion is another creative outlet for me. I enjoy putting together outfits that reflect how I’m feeling, and I don’t really stick to one specific style—it’s all about expressing myself in the moment. Music is a huge part of my life too. I try to go to concerts and festivals whenever I can. There’s something really special about how music brings people together, even across language barriers. But what I love most is how it makes me feel—whether I’m dancing, unwinding, or just setting the vibe with the perfect playlist for my mood.

In 2023, I graduated from Rutgers University with a major in Communications and a minor in Cinematography. I’ve always had an eye for creativity as I’m passionate about storytelling through film, whether it’s movies, TV, or one day, my own production company. My love for crafting began in high school, where I created videos of my friends to cherish and look back at years from now, capturing the beauties of our teen years. As much as I loved creating the work, seeing how I elicited emotions from a 20 second video was fulfilling. It was then that I realized my calling: to entertain, inspire and bring happiness into a world often overshadowed by negativity. This is also why the work of the National Farm Worker Ministry means so much to me. Their mission to uplift and advocate for farm workers aligns closely with my values. As an Afro-Latina woman, I’m deeply committed to standing up for marginalized communities and doing my part to bring about justice, equity, and meaningful change.
