Debilee Flores is a communications strategist, storyteller, and community advocate with nearly two decades of experience in mission-driven work. In her role as a part-time Communications Lead at the National Farm Worker Ministry (NFWM), she brings a values-driven, data-backed approach to nonprofit communications and advocacy — helping amplify farm worker voices and advance justice through clear, compassionate, and strategic messaging.
Debilee has led communications and marketing efforts across for-profit corporations, public benefit companies, and nonprofit organizations, with a strong emphasis on social impact, ethical storytelling, and community engagement. Her work spans strategic messaging, brand development, campaign planning, and content creation that centers lived experience and collective action. She continues to support a small number of nonprofit and values-aligned clients alongside her work at NFWM.
Born into a Puerto Rican family and raised in the U.S., Debilee’s passion for immigrant justice and community solidarity has grown through years of relational work, including hosting over 20 international students, volunteering with refugee-serving organizations, and supporting local outreach efforts in Middle Tennessee.
She lives in Murfreesboro, Tennessee with her husband, son, and their dog. Outside of work, Debilee enjoys cooking, hosting community gatherings, and singing on her church’s worship team.
